Character Design Final - Colette

Here's my final for class - a huge character design project. However, because of time management (with all the other finals and holidays in between) I'm not quite happy with her. I ended up defaulting into "my style" (if you can call it that) instead of keeping the original style I wanted to try on her. I really want to push myself with style on this particular story....ALL WELL. I'm already sketching new versions of her and she's already changed a bit. I'll continue playing with her and the other French Dystopian characters. YOU HAVEN'T SEEN THE LAST OF THIS!

Phineas & Ferb guest characters

Latest assignment was to make 3 characters that could fit into the world of Disney's Phineas & Ferb. We have to create a kid, an animal, and a guest villain. As not being an avid watcher of the show, this was something a little different for me haha. Anyway, here are my characters and some sketches from the show:

 

I just realized that Ms Bumblebore's arm (screen right) doesn't really attach to her shoulder....gonna have to fix that. *huff puff*

Penelope Cruz the Mongoose

Latest assignment was to make a celebrity caricature as an animal. This is something entirely new for me since when I think of Caricature I think of this:

I didn't draw those btw (obviously). But that's what I think of when I think "caricature"....totally NOT my style :/ But I was supposed to do something like this:

But Penelope Cruz doesn't have any props for me to work with and all I had to do was make a turnaround so personality sketches weren't really going to be a part of the finished product :/ Her body type, while beautiful, isn't too extraordinary. However, she does have big eyes, a wide mouth, and big hair. There's also a noteable in her facial proprotions. Anyway....

This isn't my greatest project. I had to pick priorities with it being finals week though. Lots of projects including another for this class....soooooooooooooooooo...yeah whatever here's everything haha:

 

Here are my first sketches. They're HORRIBLE. I was caught up between putting animal on a human and human on an animal heh XD

Here is a more anthro version...but this wasn't really where the project needed to go. So I had to re-do

Something a little more animal. But not animal enough :/ Prof wanted something completely animal but while paying attention to her facial proportions. I like this one the most though. 

This is what I ended up with. I don't like it, but I suck at turnarounds haha This is all animal, but with a sort of "mane" that is Penelope's hair and some of her facial proportions (short distance between nose/mouth, large almond eyes, ect).
